Seraphina Sinclair is the true heiress of the Sinclair family. After her mother's death, stepmother Penelope Quinn and her daughter seize control. Sebastian is poisoned and crippled, Simon is turned into a thug, and Sawyer is demoted. Seraphina is abandoned in the countryside, where she learns martial arts and medicine. Now sold to slavers for a pittance, she escapes and returns home—ready to fight back.
