On the eve of her wedding to Zuma, Teyo discovers her sister, Malin, has seduced her betrothed to evade being sacrificed to Huitzil, the feared God of War. Heartbroken, Teyo refuses to marry a cheater, but when Huitzil witnesses her confrontation, he demands Teyo be sacrificed in Malin's place. But the God spares her life and takes her to his realm, where their dangerous attraction soon becomes something neither can resist. When Malin's manipulations as a dark sorceress are revealed, Zuma's remorse rekindles old feelings and threatens to pull her away from the God she has come to love.
